Elephant and Piggie are best of friends. Piggie tells elephant that he has alot to be
thankful for and therefore, he is going on a thank-o-rama to thank everyone.
But elephant keeps insisting that he is going to forget someone very important.
Piggie continues on his journey to thank all the animals. He thanks a snake,
pigeon, hippo, penguin, Doctor Cat, Brian Bat, the flies and the largest whale.
But persisitng Elephant is still reminding him of forgetting to thank someone
important. It is then that Piggie realizes that he forgot to thank his best
friend, Elelphant. Elephant feels honored to have been thanked by Piggie and to
be thought of the best friend ever. But still Elephant insist that he forgot to
thank someone very important. Elephant finally tells Piggie that he forgot to
thank the reader. So Piggie realizes that and thanks the readers telling them
that they are the best and without them they could not be themselves. Piggie considers himself to be a lucky pig for
having elephant as a friend to remind him. Thanks to Elephant, Piggie was able to
thank everyone without forgetting anyone.
This is an intriguing book for young readers. This book can help to teach about the importance of being grateful and thankful for the friends and family they have.
